CME Outfitters is proud to be featured by the CME Coalition in its Monthly Report, an e-newsletter reaching leaders across the continuing medical education community. The CME Coalition spotlights member organizations whose work demonstrates the impact of CME in advancing national healthcare priorities; and CMEO was selected as the first organization featured.
The recognition highlights an area where CME Outfitters continues to lead: designing accredited education that helps clinicians address real-world barriers to care and improve outcomes across diverse patient populations.
Why this matters
As healthcare priorities increasingly focus on prevention, chronic disease management, maternal health, nutrition security, and community-based care, the need for effective, outcomes-driven education has never been greater. CME/CE plays a critical role in translating these priorities into measurable changes in clinical practice.
The CME Coalition feature spotlights CMEO’s longstanding commitment to health access and equity across therapeutic areas and care settings, including more than 150 accredited educational activities developed to address:
• disparities in care
• bias mitigation
• culturally responsive communication
• maternal health inequities
• pediatric behavioral health
• food as medicine
Importantly, these initiatives have demonstrated meaningful improvements in clinician knowledge, competence, and performance, along with reported changes in care delivery that help reduce gaps in care.
Featured educational focus areas
The Coalition also highlighted several key initiatives that reflect how CME Outfitters translates national healthcare priorities into practical, clinician-focused education:

• Culturally responsive communication

A strategic partner for education that matters
Accredited CME/CE serves as a critical bridge between healthcare priorities and real-world practice change, particularly in prevention, chronic disease management, maternal health, nutrition, and community-based care for rural and underserved populations. This recognition underscores what has long distinguished CME Outfitters: our ability to design education that aligns with evolving healthcare priorities while delivering measurable improvements in clinician performance and patient care.
We are grateful to the CME Coalition for highlighting this work and for the opportunity to share how accredited education can help close gaps in care, improve clinician performance, and support better outcomes for patients and communities.
