Cleared for Takeoff: An All-Hands-on Deck Approach to Building Confidence and Competence in S1P Receptor Modulator Initiation for Ulcerative Colitis

For people living with ulcerative colitis (UC), cycles of remission and relapse can disrupt daily life and complicate long-term management. Sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor modulators (S1Prms) are a new class of targeted oral therapies with the potential to reduce colonic inflammation and improve outcomes. Initiating them follows a clear, well-defined pathway: a focused set of baseline assessments supports safe, confident use and helps teams match the right patients to therapy. With practical, evidence-based education, clinicians and multidisciplinary care teams can bring S1Prms into routine practice with confidence.

This CME Outfitters recorded webcast makes that pathway clear and approachable, with expert faculty modeling how to fold baseline assessment into real-world workflows.
