The Personal Data We Collect or Receive and How We Collect It
We collect most of the Personal Data directly from you from information you provide by telephone, text or email, and via our Websites, Platforms and Apps. In the course of providing our Services or otherwise interacting with you, we may collect or receive the following types of information from the following sources.
Contact Information
When you contact us or our customer support team via any of the Websites or Services, email or by mail, when you call us, or when you sign up to receive our newsletter, you will be asked to provide certain information which may include your name, email address, and phone number (collectively, the “Contact Information”). The Contact Information is used to provide the requested service or information and to contact you for purposes of direct marketing of our current and future products and services.
Billing Information
In order to subscribe to or use our Services, you will be required to provide certain additional information which may include a credit card number, expiration date, billing zip code, activation code, bank information, and similar information (“Billing Information”). Such Billing Information will be collected and processed via a link to our third-party payment processor pursuant to the terms and conditions of their privacy policies and terms of use. We do not directly collect, store or process any Billing Information.
CE Information
When you register for an account on the Platform or the App, in addition to providing Contact Information and a username and password, you may also be asked to provide your birthday, name of your employer, and your professional credentials and license number (collectively, the “CE Information”). Such CE Information is used to create your account and administer and keep track of your CE credits.
Geolocational Information
We may automatically collect general geolocation information from your device via your browser’s location services. You may provide permission for this collection on the device level (e.g., you have consented to location services generally through your device or browser settings). Please consult your browser’s documentation regarding how to turn off location services. If you disable location services, you may not be able to use the full array of features and functionalities available through our Services.

In addition to the Contact Information, CE Information, and Geolocational Information that you provide, we may collect or receive the following additional information (“Other Information”):
From Your Activity. In an ongoing effort to improve the Websites and the Services, we automatically collect certain information when you visit the Websites, or access or use our Services. A Word About SMS Text Messages
You may elect to receive SMS text messages from us, including from American Fitness Professionals & Associates (AFPA), regarding the continuing education programs that you have registered to attend, or continuing education programs, promotional offers, program updates, and other communications that you may find of interest. These messages may use information you provide directly to us, or that we automatically collect based on your actions while visiting our Websites or using our Services. You are not required to consent to receive text messages as a condition of purchasing any product or Services.
By providing your phone number or otherwise opting in to receive SMS text messages from us, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages sent directly to your mobile phone and to our collection, storage, and use of the information you provide, including your telephone number, when you read a text message, message interaction data, and records of your opt-in consent (including timestamp and method). All information provided or collected in connection with SMS messages is subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
The types of SMS messages you may receive may include:
Marketing and promotional messages, such as new certifications, courses, special offers, and similar messages;
Transactional messages, such as enrollment confirmation, payment reminders, order or subscription updates, and similar messages;

Message frequency varies based on your enrollment status, subscription, and the promotions active at the time. You may receive up to several messages per month. Message frequency may increase during promotional periods or when you have active course enrollments.
By opting-in to receive SMS text messages from us, you acknowledge that messaging and data rates may apply depending on your phone service provider. We are not responsible for any charges you may incur from your phone service provider.
Delivery of the SMS messages is subject to effective transmission from your phone service provider. We do not guarantee delivery of any SMS message.
You may opt out of receiving SMS text messages at any time by texting “STOP” in response to the text messages you receive or by changing your notification and communication preferences in the Platform. In addition, you may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any of our marketing emails. You cannot opt out of receiving transactional e-mails related to your account. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases.
Security of Your Information
We take commercially reasonable security measures designed to ensure that your Personal Data is treated securely and is protected from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction, taking into account the risks involved in processing and the nature of such data, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. However, we cannot guaranty the security of any information you provide to us. In particular, e-mail sent to or from the Websites or the Services may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail or other electronic means. We do not accept liability for unintentional disclosure of any of your information, including Personal Data.

The Websites and the Services may, from time to time, contain links to external third party websites. We encourage you to review the privacy and security policies of any externally linked. We assume no responsibility or liability for the information collection and disclosure practices of any external websites that a user can access through the Websites or the Services.
Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect, receive, maintain, or use Personal Data from children under 16 years of age, and no part of any of the Website or the Services is directed to children under the age of 16. If you are under the age of 16, please do not provide any Personal Data through the Websites or the Services. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Privacy Policy by instructing their children to never provide any Personal Data on the Websites, the Services, or any other web site without their permission. If you learn that your child has provided us with Personal Data without your consent, you may alert us at privacy@knowfully.com and we will endeavor to delete that Personal Data from our databases. If we learn that we have collected any Personal Data from children under 16, we will promptly take steps to delete such Personal Data and terminate the child’s account.
DO NOT TRACK
As discussed above, third parties such as advertising networks and analytics providers may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you access or use the Websites or the Services. Currently, various browsers offer a “Do Not Track” option, but there is no standard for commercial websites. At this time, we do not monitor, recognize, or honor any opt-out or do not track mechanisms, including general web browser “Do Not Track” settings and/or signals.
Global Privacy Control Signals
The Global Privacy Control is an opt-out preference signal that allows you to automatically exercise your right to opt-out of the sale or sharing for targeted advertising purposes of your Personal Data. We are using our best efforts to implement GPC across the Sites.

Our servers are located in the United States.
