This live CMEO Briefcase will focus on three patients from racial and ethnic minority populations with melanoma and outline best practices for screening to reduce disparities and improve melanoma morbidity and mortality rates in patients of color.

In this CME Outfitters BriefCase, a faculty expert will guide learners through a patient case scenario reflective of the impact of biases, disparities, and health inequities that reduce the quality of oncology care for racial and ethnic underserved patients with melanoma. This program will provide actionable strategies, empowering attendees to recognize factors and implement changes in practice to improve melanoma treatment.

In this CMEO BriefCase, expert faculty will utilize case-based learning to illustrate these pervasive disparities through the stories of two patients, Miguel and LaToya, while offering strategies to integrate therapies that optimize long-term outcomes and address racial/ethnic inequities in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with psoriasis.
