Scott Feldman received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a major in Biochemistry. He then attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine, where he completed his MD and PhD degrees, studying the mechanism of class switch recombination in B lymphocytes and received the Granville Bennett Award for Medical Education. Scott then completed a residency in internal medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City followed by a fellowship in allergy and immunology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, engaging in further research on the role of B lymphocytes in chronic sinusitis, while also completing a medical education certificate and developing novel curricula for immunology education.
Dr. Feldman joined the faculty at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in the summer of 2018 in the Section of Allergy & Immunology in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care. He practices at Penn Medicine University City while also attending on the allergy/immunology consult service for HUP and Presbyterian Medical Center. He specializes in immunological disorders such as CVID and other adult immunodeficiencies, plus allergic diseases such as chronic urticaria, food and drug allergy, allergic rhinitis, asthma, and atopic dermatitis. He has an interest in medical education for medical students, residents, and fellows. He developed a basic immunology course for Allergy/Immunology fellows, and teaches immunology for medical students, He also serves as Assistant Program Director for the Allergy/Immunology fellowship.
