Media Production Associate

CME Outfitters, LLC, a healthcare communications agency providing continuing education content development, production, marketing, accreditation, and project management services to the healthcare industry, is searching for a multi-talented creative superhero (or aspiring superhero) to be a part of its Design Group. CME Outfitters' Design Group is defined by its attention to detail and its ability to create prodigious volumes of consistently flawless work under tight deadlines. We prefer candidates who are based in the Washington, DC area and can operate out of our Rockville, MD headquarters. The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics, although we will consider all qualified applicants:

Experience/Skills:

• Experience in print design, web design, and/or presentation graphics
• Strong sense of design/typography/layout
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral
• Ability to manage design projects efficiently and accurately while maintaining priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with superlative attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and deadline-driven environment
• Experience with social media formats
• Proficiency with Mac OS
• Healthcare background and customer service experience a plus
• E-mail and internet marketing experience a plus

Software Proficiency:

• Intermediate knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat
• Intermediate knowledge of Dreamweaver, Flash, or other web design software
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, for creating presentations, broadcast graphics, and company templates
• Basic audio and interactive media production/editing experience a plus
• Basic database management experience a plus

Job responsibilities are broadly divided into three categories, depending on the candidate's abilities and career objectives. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Print:

• Managing timelines and deliverables for print campaigns
• Utilizing design templates and existing brand graphics to create marketing pieces
• Preparing and sending files/mockups to vendors

Web:

• Building web pages using template and stylesheet
• Maintaining company websites on a daily basis
• Maintaining graphics, web, and e-mail databases
• Assisting with e-mail newsletter content, layout, and mailing

Presentation Graphics:

• Assisting with graphical design of PPT slide templates
• Formatting presentation slides with a focus on consistency and clean layout
• Editing slides based on faculty/staff feedback
• Creating animations and custom diagrams to enhance visual appeal of slides
